Let's Mark This Year in a Special Way
In a totally unconventional year, Community Roots came through with an incredible Forest School for our Kindergarteners. Because of the hard work and vision of the staff, administration, faculty, and so many volunteers, the 2020-2021 school year became something to remember. So, we made hats! As a gift to everyone at CRCS who made this year's Forest School possible, as a way for each of us to remember this year like no other, and maybe even as a way to raise a little extra money for CRCS. So get your hat, donate your hat, and/or make a contribution here. We are so lucky to be a part of this Forest School and CRCS Community together.
PLEASE NOTE
• Pay for what you can. And if you are not able to pay anything no problem (see below*).
• If you can make an additional purchase/donation of one or more hats to help cover the costs of giving a hat to every kindergartener and all of the staff and volunteers, that is great.
• If you want, you can also make an additional donation to help close our fundraising gap at CRCS and we will donate any funds raised to the school on behalf of our whole grade.
* While this initiative is parent-led independently of the school, we honor the same values and approach to participation at CRCS: purchasing and/or donating to this is voluntary. We are all part of the same community and are excited to mark this year together and in this way so that everyone gets a hat and all of the teachers, staff, and volunteers get a hat. We are delighted to see this Forest Schooler vision come to fruition as we express our gratitude to CRCS and our Forest School champions on behalf of every family and remember a very special year in every meaning of the word.
